A Wedding Where emotions flowed freely
Some weddings are loud from the start — a flurry of nerves, decisions, and constant movement. But Tyler and Emilee’s Supposey wedding in Pensacola wasn’t like that.
We’ve been photographing and filming weddings in Pensacola for a long time, and we could feel right away that this day would be different. From our very first call, they told us they wanted everything to feel smooth, grounded, and full of real connection. A day to soak in time with their people. A day to feel everything. And that’s exactly what it became.
Why Supposey Was the Perfect Setting
Supposey Warehouse & Gardens offered the perfect mix of elegance and ease. With its clean, modern design, tall greenery, and thoughtful indoor-outdoor flow, it felt elevated without ever feeling stiff. It also happens to be just 5 minutes from Downtown Pensacola — which means you get all the convenience of a central location, without the noise or stress.
Everything — from getting ready to the final sparkler exit — happened in one place, keeping the day calm, smooth, and grounded.
The Most Meaningful Moments Were the Quiet Ones
Like when Emilee’s bridesmaids gathered around her and prayed over her before the ceremony — a pause that brought everyone back to what mattered.
Or when she saw her dad for the first time and he wiped away tears. Or when she and Tyler met for their first look and shared personal vows with no one else around.
No pressure. No audience. Just a moment for the two of them.
And then, after the ceremony — after all the cheers and excitement — we captured a moment of Tyler hugging his daughters and crying. It didn’t need to be staged. It just happened. And it’s one of those moments that will mean more with every year that passes.
Planning the Day Around What Mattered
We didn’t start with a shot list or a Pinterest board. We started by asking them what they wanted the day to feel like.
They told us they wanted a day that felt classy but not stiff. Emotional but not heavy. Fun but not chaotic. So we built their timeline around that — creating a day that gave them space to be with each other and their people, while still capturing everything beautifully.
Build a timeline around your values, not photos
This is how we approach every wedding. We help our couples craft a timeline around their values, not just around photos. And we check in throughout the day, encouraging them to slow down, breathe, and stay grounded. Because your wedding day shouldn’t feel like an all-day photoshoot — and with a little intention, it doesn’t have to.
A Quiet Moment at Sanders Beach Park
Right before sunset, we snuck away to Sanders Beach Park — just a few minutes from Supposey — for a quiet walk by the water. It was golden and calm and peaceful.
The portraits turned out beautifully. But more than that, it gave them a chance to step away from the crowd, breathe, check in with each other, and just be together. It wasn’t about chasing the light or forcing a “perfect shot.” It was about giving them space — something a lot of couples don’t realize they need until the day is already over.
Not every couple wants sunset portraits, and that’s okay. Some would rather soak up every minute with their guests — and we love that too. We’re not here to push anyone into doing something just for the photo. We’re here to help you create the day you want, and then gently shape the flow so you can stay present while we capture it naturally.
Why Photo and Video Meant Everything
In the early planning stages, Emilee hadn’t really thought about hiring a videographer. But after seeing a friend’s wedding film — one we had created — she reached out. And afterward, she said this:
“Matt and Erin are the true definition of a dream team. My wedding day was captured in the most beautiful way with photos that included every detail you wouldn’t want to forget. In the beginning stages of planning my wedding, I personally never took thought into hiring a videographer. That was until a friend showed me hers that Lother Co. created and my mind was forever changed. NEVER second guess if you should have your special day filmed. Especially by Lother Co. I am so thankful Matt and Erin were both available for my wedding day for photography & videography… Book with them, you will NOT regret it!”
That’s exactly why we do this.
They’re not just images and clips. They’re memories you’ll grow into.
Moments like those will only mean more with time. Trust us, we’ve seen it and lived it.
Thinking about choosing Supposey as your wedding venue?
If you’re planning a wedding at Supposey in Pensacola, and you want a day that’s calm, meaningful, and fully you — we’d love to help you make it happen.
We’ll help you build a timeline that centers what actually matters to you — not a production schedule. No chaos. No pressure. Just a chance to live the day fully, knowing it’s all being captured honestly and beautifully.
